U.S. High Speed Rail congratulates Ben Tripousis, a longtime USHSR member, on his new role directing the Cascadia High-Speed Rail Program, which will create a high-speed system in the Pacific Northwest to connect Portland to Seattle and Vancouver, B.C. Ben joins the Washington State Department of Transportation from USHSR member HNTB and the California High-Speed Rail Authority.
USHSR President Andy Kunz praised Ben's contributions to the association:
"Ben has been a important contributor to our efforts at U.S. High Speed Rail and we look forward to continuing to work with him in his new role. USHSR has long supported the Cascadia High-Speed Rail project as an important piece of the national network."
