Welcome to USHSR's Small Business Database. This is a listing of small businesses ready to get involved in the national high speed rail project unfolding across America. A wide diversity of firms are listed in a number of sectors below. Get involved in the national high speed rail construction project as it gets underway - the great infrastructure project of modern time.
The infrastructure needs of this project are huge, and include the construction of thousands of miles of new high grade track, signaling, and electrification, as well as hundreds of bridges, many miles of tunnels, hundreds of new train stations and numerous support facilities. Set to create millions of permanent, good paying jobs, this project will completely transform America and bring the nation into the 21st century.
This database will be updated weekly, and will get exposure as part of USHSR's ongoing efforts to build widespread public, business, and political support for a major investment in a national high speed rail network across America. For a small fee, companies can list themselves including website and contact information in one or more of the business categories in the database below. Listings in the database do not constitute Business Membership in the US High Speed Rail Association. This database is expected to be viewed by government procurement officials, corporate contracting officers, prime contractors, elected officials, international high speed rail companies, and the general public.

"All Aboard?" July 19
TIME on USHSR
"More than 300 business types showed up at its shindig at the Orlando Hilton, where they saw cool models of German, Spanish, South Korean and Japanese bullet trains and a cool video of a French train traveling a record 357 m.p.h. When I asked a lobbyist I recognized what he was doing there, he grinned and rubbed his thumb against two fingers."
"The goal is to create attractive alternatives to long drives and short flights, which would relieve road and air congestion; reduce carbon emissions, highway deaths and dependence on oil from foreign thugs or the blackened Gulf; create jobs, jump start a new domestic manufacturing industry; and improve the competitiveness and convenience of the U.S. economy."
"You wouldn't have to get to the airport ridiculously early, take off your shoes, turn off your phone or pay extra for luggage; you wouldn't have to worry about the weather or some Icelandic volcano canceling your trip. You wouldn't have to watch the road, wait in traffic, find parking or pull over to stretch your legs; you wouldn't risk arrest or an accident by drinking or texting." -Time, July 19, 2010
